Week 4: Boot Camp

Wow, I just realized what a slacker I've been with my blog lately... so sorry, my friends! So here is an update on boot camp.

Week 4 has been a little hard for me. I am beginning to lose my motivation, which stinks. I am happy to report that even though I missed a day last week because of the girl's beach trip, I did run/walk while I was on vacation! My body is obviously not the same as it was 10 years ago (dang 30 year old body), and I'm realizing that more and more each day. My ankles (yes, both of them) are really bothering me today. They are both swollen and really hurting... hmm, maybe a reason to leave work early? Sounds good to me! Anywho... here's my food update...

Things I didn't eat week 4...
- Krispy Kreme apple fritter... these were donated by KK on Tuesday, they are not even in their stores yet and won't be until the fall, they gave some to us to 'taste test'. I was devestado.
- chocolate iced brownies... yet another treat left here at work...
- ice cream (even though I REALLY wanted some)
- Sir Pizza pizza at my birthday lunch on Monday...

Things I did eat week 4...
- PF Chang's with Meagan & Tiffany last night... yep, I'd say that trumps all the "things I DIDN'T eat"...
- a hamburger at my SURPRISE birthday celebration last weekend AND a piece of homemade strawberry cake!!!!!!! Can you blame me??
- lots of hummus, salads, and water

2 more weeks... we'll see how I hold up.
