When I was in the 4th grade, we had to write a report about famous North Carolinians. Our teacher made us draw names from a hat... guess who I drew?? Good 'ol Michael! All the boys were SO jealous!

Farmer's Market...

Yesterday afternoon, Sean, Meagan, Ernie and I made a little visit to the Farmer's Market! I haven't been in a really long time, so it was really a fun experience! We were on the hunt for pumpkins (we tried to find a pumpkin patch complete with hay rides and more, but they were all closed on Thursday afternoon), mums, and fresh veggies and boy did we find them!

We didn't end up getting pumpkins, because we did in fact find a pumpkin patch in Gibsonville, complete with hay rides and more, that we will be visiting next weekend! But we did get fresh okra, apple butter, pumpkin pecan bread + banana nut bread, corn, potatoes, and tomatoes!! Delish!! I even made fried okra for the first time... not on Weight Watchers, but it was tasty!! Thanks for the recipe, mama!!

Have I told you just how much I LOVE track travel?? No?? Well, it's fan-freakin-tastic!! Erin and I had lots of awesome adventures in the big city of Kansas City! This is all of our booth supplies. Each day we had to pack up and load all this shiz into our rental car, and then set up again the next morning... good times!! I got lots of cat calls on this bad-boy!!

New hair...

So this isn't the best picture and I promise I'll post a better one soon... but I have new hair!! Well, not really, but a new look!! I am all brown, no blonde in honor of fall!! Plus, I got about 3 inches chopped off!! I am LOVING it!! Thanks to Lindsay who made me look b-e-a-utiful!!

In honor of fall I'm rockin a new nail polish... love it!

However, I must bid farewell to my most fav summer color, Elephantastic Pink. Let's just say it met it's demise in my suitcase on the plane ride back from Kansas. Nothing like cleaning HOT PINK nail polish off of EVERYTHING in a bag (just a cosmetic bag) upon my arrival home. May you RIP Elephantastic Pink.

Is it wrong that it's 7:00pm (Central time) and I'm ready for bed?? Looooooong weekend here in Kansas. My belly is full, my legs are tired, and I'm ready to call it a night. Can't WAIT to hop on that US Air flight tomorrow and head home to my hubby!!! I miss him SO much!!!

Erin and I just ate dinner (well, senior citizens style dinner at 5:00) at PF Changs... our waiter was SO full of personality. He decided to sing Whitney Houston's new single to us... at our table.
