HOORAY!!!

MY CONDO SOLD!!!!!!! I'm SUPER STOKED about it... but oddly it's bittersweet. I'm thankful that we will no longer be making TWO mortgage payments and now someone else can enjoy the place that I called home for almost 7 years. But I will miss my shabby chic living room, my big floor to ceiling window, my upstairs neighbor who's son was just learning to play the bass guitar when I moved out... wait, I won't miss that... being super close to Target + Friendly Center, yep, I'll definitely miss that! Thank you 3733 Morris Farm Drive for letting me call you home for some wonderful, crazy, stressful, romantic, emotional, happy and independent 7 years!

Love, love, LOVE chandeliers!!! This one is especially fancy!!! Little does Sean know, but a chandelier, possibly even similar to this, will be going in our baby's nursery some day!!

The feedback I recevied from my agent was that his buyer had narrowed his search down to 2 properties, mine and 1 other. My sweet brother called tonight asking if I wanted him to put some fresh flowers or a candle in it tomorrow just as an added perk... wait, no, my brother is not gay, he is just extremely thoughtful... that did make him sound a little gay... anyway, what a great thought, Eric! And can you leave a note that says, "please pick me" as well!?!?

Speaking of vacation...

The hubs and I are quickly approaching our one year wedding anniversary! I can't believe it's already been almost 1 year... time flies when you're having fun!

We have been contemplating where to go for our anniversary trip... I need some ideas! A cruise, maybe? Destin, FL, maybe? I sort of want to go somewhere we have to fly to, in order to REALLY get away! Let me know what you think!

Busy Bee...

I saw this on my friend Miranda's blog and it really sums up my life in the last 2 weeks... well... month. I feel like I have totally neglected my husband, my family, my friends and my blog, and to you all I am sorry. I feel like I'm always thinking about work, work, work... what event do I have to go to next, what phone call / email do I need to return, what bone-head thing did my boss do today to make me dispise her even more (if that's possible)... ARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!?!?!? I need a vacation, something fierce. Serenity now.

So I just watched AI performances from last night...

WTH...

I must admit that I dable in Forever 21 attire from time to time... and when I say 'attire' I simply mean shirts that don't button because everything in that store is meant for anorexic-ish 12 year olds.

So I was slightly pumped when I read that Forever 21 is now carrying "plus size" clothes in their newest line called Faith 21. Keep the faith big girl, keep the faith. But really, this is a snapshot from their "lookbook"... as if it's not bad enough that I have HUGE boobs and a belly, you want me to wear THIS?? I think not...

Note to self: it is no longer suitable to shop at Forever 21. No matter how cute it looks on the rack, it won't fit.

Withdrawal...

I am totally having basketball withdrawals. There are no good sports to watch between now and pre-season college football in August, maybe. Damage control.

Good news though, skinny-baby-faced Ed Davis is coming back for his sophomore year next year! Can't. Freakin. Wait.

I am the proud new owner of this little beauty! I will wear it proudly, Wayne!

Pictures...

I sat down at my computer this morning to upload some pictures from my camera from this long weekend's festivities. When I open my camera and hook the USB cord up to my computer only 1 picture shows up.... said camera proceeds to tell me that my pictures are in internal memory. Well where is that?? I don't know where internal memory is and I don't know where my pictures from the Grasshopper game, Meagan's birthday, seeing Outformation at the Blind Tiger last night pictures are!?!?!?! DANG IT!!!!!!

I love how vintage pictures look. I've been playing around with Photobucket this morning... keep an eye out for more vintag-y pictures on my blog!

Curse of the Crackberry....

Most of you guys know that my super-old, relative of the bag phone, Sprint work phone I had met it's demise a couple of weeks ago. And because me and our IT guy are tight, he hooked me up with this little beauty. While I was and possibly still am the envy of my co-workers, this contraption has slowly become the thorn in my side. It's SO addicting, and I can NEVER get away from my work emails!?!? I am off today, and at 9:00am this morning I was not only reading, but responding to work emails!?!? I think I may need an intervention...

Salon experience...

So I went to my trusty nail salon in the mall for a pedicure tonight. Tonight's visit was more awkward than usual for the following reasons:

1.) The lady next to me, with her very strong Wisconsin accent proceeded to talk on her cell phone the entire time, after she decided that she would cut, yes cut, her 1994 Lee acid-washed looking jeans, since she couldn't pull them over her knees. Nice.

2.) I like this particular salon because they have a flat screen t.v. and show movies. It's a nice way to relax and not have to make conversation with the nail tech person who barely speaks English. However, tonight's movie pick was "Seven Pounds". If you haven't seen it, you should, it's excellent. But this is a movie that I balled watching... I don't mean, the cry you do when you watch a sappy Folgers commercial at Christmas, I mean eyes puffy, Kleenex-using, husband asking if your ok, kind of cry. Point is, I was hoping that wouldn't happen at the salon tonight.

3.) Nail-tech-guy was a Creepy McCreepster and kept staring at me. Paging awkward, party of 2. Weird.

Good news is, my piggies are sportin a new look and all the ish that was my salon experience was worth it. Thanks, Creepy McCreepster for helping me look my best!

I made a new Wordle! This one is even better than the first one... I like how the word 'everything' is right in the middle...

I’m flying my trusty UNC flag today… I have had this flag since we won the 1993 National Championship… it’s been around for a LONG time, but only comes out when we win it all. Love it.

Things I'm grateful for today... The HUGE inflatable Ram at the steakhouse in Randleman when Erin + I went to meet Nancy and Zac for lunch. Zac is a HUGE Duke fan and only said he would meet for lunch if I promised not to say anything about Carolina. The Ram said it all. Hilarious!

Moved...

Please don't hate me... not only have I changed my email address, I've moved blog spots... to a new Blogger-spot! I got irritated that I couldn't have comments on my Tumblr blog, or a cute background so I decided to go somewhere easier to manuver.
